ALEXANDRIA HAYS, LPC ASSOCIATE, REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER (200HR)

Alexandria is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate as well as a Registered Yoga Teacher (200hr) with Yoga Alliance. She hopes to help her clients learn to examine their thoughts, feelings, attitudes, values, and behaviors while creating a space for them to grow and change in positive ways. Her main focus revolves around grief/loss, life transitions, challenging distorted thinking, relationships, and trauma recovery. Previously living in New Zealand, she has experience working with teens, adolescents, and individuals as well as their families. Adam Horn, LPC ASSOCIATE, REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER

Adam is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and a Certified Yoga Teacher. He practices holistically, believing many factors go into the human experience and should be given their appropriate attention. Adam believes therapy is a little different for all individuals and strives to meet individuals where they are, tailoring his approach accordingly. He works to create a safe environment for all people suitable for personal growth, healing, and exploration. He believes clients are the experts of their lives, and his role is to offer support, guidance, education, tools/skills, and the occasional interpretation.

Adam has experience both in private practice and inpatient mental health settings. He works at Amend Wellness, a holistic mental health retreat center, and sees private practice clients. Adam charges $150 for 50-minute sessions and offers a sliding scale as appropriate.

Adam chose to become a therapist after facing personal struggles of his own. He learned first-hand how therapy can be a powerful tool to help navigate life’s challenges. Additionally, Adam realized he was passionate about mental health and wanted to spend his career serving his community. He’s lived in Austin since 2021 and spends his free time being outside, reading, exercising, and connecting with friends.

HEATHER NIRENBERG MCKILLIP, LPC ASSOCIATE

Heather is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, and holds the National Certified Counselor accreditation. She is EMDR-trained by Rick Levinson, LCSW and completed her pre-graduation internship at the YWCA Greater Austin, providing services to the community from a trauma-informed, Relational Cultural therapeutic approach. Heather’s goal with clients is to help them cultivate a curiosity and unconditional positive regard for themselves that can be lost beneath past trauma, attachment injuries, and unchecked dysregulation in our nervous systems. Heather believes in bringing an authentic connection to the room and each client receives unique treatment based on their wants and needs, established together in therapy. Laura Sanders. M.A.,LMT, LPC Associate 

Laura is a counselor, author, meditation teacher, bodyworker, energy healer and intuitive. Her specialties include therapy for highly sensitive people, recovery from abusive relationships and therapy for new and expecting parents. She loves working with adults and children and including creative interventions such as art and music.

Laura is trauma informed, and passionate about nervous system recovery. She is fully trained in EMDR. Laura is spiritually diverse with many personal practices including breathwork, kundalini and vinyasa yoga, and sound healing. Her book Supernatural Recovery: An Empaths' Guide to Overcoming Addiction and Trauma can be found on Amazon. She is a proud LBGTQIA+ affirming ally. She charges $150 per session with sliding scale available in special circumstances.

STEPHEN BARTZ, LPC ASSOCIATE, NCC

Stephen earned his undergraduate dual degree at Texas Tech in Psychology and History. He earned his Masters of Education in Clinical mental health counseling at the University of New Orleans. He formerly worked at a community mental health clinic in Louisiana and saw a large spectrum of diagnoses. That clinical work helped him develop an eclectic set of skills, honed through an existential lens that he used to help his clients thrive. Stephen works best with ADHD, trauma, and is a neurodivergent affirming counselor. Stephen charges $115 for a 50 minute session.On a more personal note, he is a dog dad to two wonderful pups, and loves Austin’s dog friendly hiking trails. Areas of Focus: I specialize in identity exploration, women’s issues, LGBTQIA+ issues, life transitions, self-esteem, stress, anxiety, and depression. If you're grappling with questions like “Who am I?” or “Where do I belong?”, know that I’m here to listen and support you. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we can approach these big questions with curiosity and vulnerability. I believe that vulnerability is a powerful tool for personal growth.

Working with Me: My approach is warm, conversational, and collaborative. I see you as the expert on yourself and am dedicated to walking alongside you as you explore and discover. Expect to work on coping mechanisms, emotional regulation, and existential questions in a way that suits your needs. A Little More About Me: I completed my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at St. Edward’s University, following my studies at the University of Houston.
